Shanghai Science and Technology Museum focusing on nature, mankind, and technology, integrates display with education, collection, research, cooperation, exchange, leisure, and tourism. Together, these studies help scientists to interpret natural and scientific knowledge through multidisciplinary means and edutainment. At present, the museum has 12 thematic exhibition areas ofdifferent styles: two thematic special exhibitions, three art galleries for ancient and modern Chinese and foreign scientists and their footprints, and five high-tech special cinemas.

Field Trip Information

BIO110 Intergrated Biology: Students were introduced to the principles of materials that complement the lecture materials. Focusing on the theme “Nature, Human, and Technology”, the SSTM trip aimed to make the science popular with students and connected them with the world of high-techs. There are 11 permanent exhibition galleries on the themes of Biological Diversity, Earth To Nature Exploration, Cradle of Designers, Lights of Wisdom, Home Planet, Information Era, World of Robots, Lights of Exploration, Human and Health, and Space Navigation which students visited on this experience.
