Museum of Art Pudong (MAP) 上海浦东美术馆

Located in the heart of Xiao Lujiazui, Museum of Art Pudong (MAP) was built on September 26, 2017, and opened to the public in July 2021.
Museum of Art Pudong (MAP) was invested, built, and managed by Lujiazui Group and was designed by renowned French architect, Jean Nouvel. The museum focuses on introducing world-class artists and exhibitions, as well as cultivating domestic artists, educating the public, and enriching international exchange. It aims to become Shanghai’s newest cultural landmark and to highlight the brand of Shanghainese culture.

Field Trip Information

MEDIART104 Introduction to Photography: The students had a chance to leave campus and collaborate in order make create their works. In addition to seeing art work and photographs in front at a museum on practical display like already established artists, they got to experience viewing the works of renowned artists themselves. The objective of the trip was for students to learn how to do fieldwork and go out into the real world to experience art.
