Together with their partners, they design spaces to help people work, learn, and heal. Their creation of advanced office equipment and spacial planning has additionally guided revolutions of more humane office environments. Steelcase is an expert of this field of research in the Asia-Pacific region, and aims to lead the forefront of smart designs and humanized, optimized working spaces.

Field Trip Information
SOSC110 Innovation and Creativity: Students attended presentations that aimed to demonstrate how students could use Steelcase’s design strategies to create a more engaging environment for students to work in. The presentation demonstrated to students what it is like to work at such a corporation, Steelcase’s educational philosophy, educational space planning, and more, which aided students in developing their innovation and unique problem-solving skills. In 2019, DKU and Steelcase had worked together to create a learning space that would help to foster creativity based on their immersive research. Students thus learned from this range of expertise, active involvement with their daily school life, and learning how the environment can impact it.
